Stone Polishing

Services

Bring the shine back to stone floors, on site.

Stone floors lose their gloss over time and pick up scratches and stains. IBS regrinds and polishes the surface with dedicated machines, vacuums the slurry and hands over an even, bright floor without replacing the stone.

Each site is surveyed first so the treatment fits the type of stone.

Our 5-step process

  1. Survey the surface

A technician checks the stone type, dullness, scratches and stains to choose the right treatment.

  2. Protect the area

Walls, glass, furniture and equipment are covered so slurry and chemicals stay contained.

  3. Grind and polish by machine

The machine works the floor in passes to remove the dull layer and scratches, then polishes the surface.

  4. Vacuum and clean

The slurry is vacuumed up, remaining stains are treated separately and the floor is wiped dry.

  5. Finish and hand over

The shine is checked in real light together with the site owner before handover.

Frequently asked questions

Which stones does the service cover?

Mainly marble and granite floors and wall cladding. A technician surveys each surface before proposing a treatment.

Do we need to clear the room?

Please remove items standing on the floor being treated. Fixed items and the surrounding area are covered.

How long does the work take?

It depends on the area, the stone and the condition of the surface. IBS confirms the timing after the survey.

How do I get a quote?

Send a few photos of the floor and an estimated area on WhatsApp, or call. IBS will follow up and arrange a survey.
