Labradorite is a rare natural stone known for its shimmer. The best known are Lundhs Emerald and Lundhs Royal, quarried around Larvik in Norway, whose play of light creates jewel-like flashes of colour.
Lundhs Emerald
Deep green with large crystals whose colour shifts in the light from emerald to sky blue. The surface reflects light in an optical effect called labradorescence.
Lundhs Royal
Blue tones with grey, silver and sometimes golden crystals, shifting from pale sea blue to deep blue and silver for an elegant effect.
